Parker Switching
Description of the many happy switches on my Parker Nitefly.
My first attempt at a video on my new iMac, so bear with the low voice levels; I'll get the hang of it as I go along.

Thanks Andrew. It's my never-ending quest to find the one guitar that does it all.
What I don't like is the Roland GK pickup; it sticks into the pad of my thumb and affects my picking. Tracking is also not as good as on a Godin LGX-SA that I had. The bridge saddles were the midi drivers, and contact was more solid with the string.
Parker makes the Adrian Belew signature model now; it has magnetic, piezo, and synth (from the bridge saddles, as mentioned). But it also has a Variax circuit in it, which models acoustics, jazz boxes, sitars, etc etc. So anything the magnetic/piezo/synth can't do, he has a model of, say, a 12-string on board.
The Parker trem works really well, but it is not as stabel as a Floyd for wild wobbling. Graphtech now makes a Floyd-style bridge with piezo/synth saddles and circuitry, so you can get that versatility in a more rock guitar format as well.
All of this depends on your income/lotto luck; the Belew guitar is $10,000, and even the Graphtech bridge can be $500 plus installation costs. Where IS that Lotto Max win I ordered???
